The Federal Backpackers consists of dorm rooms and double rooms.
Over our three floors, there are toilet and shower blocks, Table Tennis Table, Pool Tables, TV Lounge with DVD player, Beer Garden, Bistro, Vending Machines, E-mail and Internet Facilities. And don't forget the great views from our relaxing verandahs.

All rooms are cleaned on a regular basis and linen can be exchanged weekly at reception. Blanket hire is also available.
The Federal is mainly a working hostel but we still cater for overnight travellers, tourists, dive course accomodation and much more.
All of our new arrivals can take advantage of our 24 hour check-in system (must be arranged prior to arrival), which allows incoming workers/travellers and the like to make late bookings as we understand that you may not be able to get a bus or train to arrive during business hours. For use of tour 24 hour check-in system please contact our friendly staff at reception for any enquiries and to book your room.
